Kane County Judicial Center Expansion

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Action

For those of you living near the Kane County Judicial Center, the landscape may soon be changing. As you know, there were recently additional structures added to house inmates as opposed to transporting inmates accross the county to the jail. The new focus is to utilize the remaining land as well as the land on the north side of Rt 38, directly across from the Judicial Center (currently corn field) to centralize other county functions.

I am fortunate enough to sit in the Citizens Advisory Board to participate in conversations of this evolving plan. This is something I am very committed to as my home backs to the cornfield that will eventually become an extension of the Judicial Campus. I will be able to see my tax dollars at work, quite literally!

I will post an update after the next meeting.
