Hello,
Some days, well most days I am overwhelmed by the desire to balance my work and home life. As Realtors we all know how much energy it takes to make it in this field, but we are lucky to work in it! I try and balance work and home life while maintaining a high level of customer service for my clients.
Today I found out that I was named one of the 50 Rising Realtors by RIS. I am both honored and humbled by being in the company of the other 49 agents. When I read their biography's I was so proud to be part of this group.
I think what I bring to the table is being able to create a working mother friendly career. I was a manager at UCLA for over 25 years. I left when my son was born and decided (against many opinions) to become a Realtor. I have proven that no matter what your business background is in real estate you can integrate those skills into this world and become successful. To me in real estate you can "have it all". My life is fuller and not what I imagined the last part of my career would look like. However, I believe life is what you make it and in this field you can create your vision.
I have met many wonderful people and am thankful for all of the support and new freindships I have made. It is a great "real" esate life.
