Nashville Mayor Karl Dean has scheduled a Housing Fair for Saturday, August 16, at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds. The Greater Nashville Association of Realtors is the presenting sponsor for the event which is intended to provide information on the possibility of home ownership. The event is for Metro employees and anyone else from throughout the region who chooses to attend. In light of the recent Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, it is likely that many people will be seriously considering the possibilty of owning their own home. So, the timing and value of this event is significant.
