When Buying a New Lap Top

Be careful when purchasing a new laptop to use as a wireless device with an air card. There is no technology yet for Vista, it was suppose to be ready last November and now it is projected to be ready by April 1, 2007. There are a few good deals out there for laptops that run XP, and you can connect them with an air card. Personally I prefer XP it is as good as Vista without all the snags that Vista is having and will continue to have for quite some time. I want this laptop to use as a "mobile office" for listing presentations and for buyers when showing property. Cingular, Sprint and the rest of the cellular companies seem to be scrambling to get up to speed with the new technology, and you probably won't be told of the problems by the store were you go to purchase the computer.  There are also now 2 size ports for your wireless cards, the new devices that use the smaller port is pretty useless too, the cell companies do not have cards for it yet either. So beware when purchasing new equipment you might not be able to use it for what you planned!
