I went out with some leasing clients last Saturday. They were trying to find a lease. I try to make the leasing process as painless and less time consuming for everyone involved. These ladies had been looking for something really great in the Round Rock area completely on their own. The problem was that everything that met their very high standards was being taken off the market as fast as ever. Leases are smokin' hot right now in the Austin area.
That's when one of their brother's decided to contact a REALTOR, me, to help out with the situation. I set them up with all the properties in the area that fit their criteria. Low in behold a property had just come on the market that was available for lease in a short while. It was on their list but they didn't know it was the one. They searched property all night Friday and then called me Saturday to tell me the ones they wanted to actually go inside.
The property they wanted was the one that had only been on the Market for 2 days, of course. It was truly the cutest property on the market of the ones they liked the best. Now some other folks looking on their own are going to see it and wonder why was it on the market for such a short period? It took some legwork on their part and some teamwork on our part but calling on a professional quickly ended weeks of failure they had experienced trying to work on their own. Knowledge and information is power and REALTORS keep the best, most up to date information. Sometimes helping folks in need of a great place to live can be as rewarding as selling property.
I can't help but to be pleased. I met some great young ladies. I met one of the finer Realtors in the area, the Leasing REALTOR and can chalk up another real estate success story in my book.
