Kelley's Island is a spectacular place to visit and relax. I had the opportunity to experience Kelley's Island for the first time this past weekend and it was a wonderful experience. We took the Ferry from Marblehead, Ohio and we docked within just under 15 minutes. Once we were on the island we rented a 4 seater golf cart and explored the island at our own pace. We visited the beach, had a nice lunch, toured the island, watched the sail boats and simply relaxed.
Kelley's Island is less than a 2 hour drive from Knox County Ohio and we found it well worth the trip. If you are planning a weekend to visit the world famous Cedar Point amusement park...Kelley's Island is about 15 miles from Sandusky and is just a short drive of about 20 minutes.
