The simplist was is to open the browser with the post you want linked. Copy the address line. Come back to you post and paste the copied address.

I find it easier to open up a second Active Rain browser so that the linked post can be be copied and pasted with fewer clicks.

It will look like this

You can get more technical and add a link to other text or to an image, but this method is simple for a start.

Here on the little island of Kauai, where the highest AR member is around 22k, Randy seems like he's in da stratosphere. What's YOUR secret to getting so many comments? What areas of AR seem to produce the most community resonance or can you say?

Ronnie - I am still trying to figure AR out myself. Some posts get a lot of comments and some that seem really interesting get very few. I'm not sure if timing plays a role as well, but I think it may initially and then when people see that a lot of comments have been made, they check out the post. Just my theory!
