What do you say when someone asks you "How is the real estate market?"

We had Tom Ferry, a real estate coach as a guest speaker yesterday at our office meeting and what a treat it was. He was absolutely brilliant full of energy and he provided fabulous timely material.
He asked us a question, what do you say when we are asked "How is the real estate market?"
His responds was "that depends on, are you thinking of selling, buying or investing. No matter what the answer was he just kept asking more qualifying questions. It really showed that we have to be prepared to always see people asking questions for possible clients.

Here is a link for Tom's Website, he will be out in Palm Dessert holding his annual Summit  from Aug. 12 to the 15th, o8 and it is not to late to get tickets for the 4 day event. And no I am not paid to say this, rather it was one of those aha moments that I thought I share with you. http://www.yourcoach.com

It's a great time to be a buyer is my answer most of the time these days, and if the person that asked admits he would be a seller than you will need more data before you make a general statement  about "his Market" Steve

you can ask my husband, but I love answering a question with a question and he says I am very good with this. I learned from the best of a teaching that Jesus did. I liked it so well I made it my own.

My manager says FANTASTIC with a straight face.  If you said it often enough, it becomes a habit.
