Dress code and should I dress up or down

By
Real Estate Agent with Regency Real Estate Brokers

I solved the dress code problems several years ago, by dressing in a very comfortable black slacks and black top (in warmer month I make it often white. I've call it my uniform to dress up or down I have many different colorful jackets or light-wight shirts I put over "my uniform".  This has allowed me to change quickly if I need to dress up or down a bit. I am always ready to go. I can go farming in the morning, change my jacket and go on a appointment. I choose my jackets or shirts in the morning and put them in my car and off I go, dressed perfectly for all the different occasions for the day.

Margo,

It does  simplify  my life  to have a base color  and sometimes I change it up  for the whole  year,  I developed a dislike  for black  when I realized our office photo looked like a piano keyboard.

Hi Margo,  We are in a resort destination so it is common for someone to walk in wearing a swimsuit and flip flops.  Agents wear casual and during our warmer summer agents may also wear shorts.  We try not to look out of place or make the customer uncomfortable.

That is a great idea.  I know often times I will put two outfits in my car, and wait to feel out the mood of the day.  But it might be easier to just wear black slacks, a top, with a jacket over the top that can be changed out for the occasion.  Thank you

Brady

Guys can learn from this, too.  Keeping a coat and tie nearby would be a great idea.

I too tend to keep my wardrobe classic as opposed to trendy.
