Kurt Starman, the City Manager of Redding, CA spoke for almost an hour earlier today bringing agents and affiliates the various issues and concerns of the City and what the City is doing about these things.
Kurt, a very articulate and well-spoken professional, was warmly received by the group, and then was commended by many for his candid nature, still responsive to the various concerns of agents. Many agents have been negatively effected by the fee structure of the City for new development, and Kurt addressed each of these issues.
The meeting was part of the Education and Program Committees weekly meeting of bringing informative and interesting speakers to the membership. Next week the City Manager of Anderson, Scott Morgan, will be talking to the group.
