Freddie's 2nd Qrt Loss....Who cares?

Ok, so all we read in the news now adays is how Freddie and Fannie are losing money not stop and the bleeding must stop!!!  But really who cares.....no matter what the Fed will bail them out with our tax dollars.  I am a Little concerned with all the banks being bailed out with the monies that were ear-market to make some progress within our country.  Maybe the Fed needs to look at how these lending organizations are conducting business and fix the defect there before agreeing to bail them out.  I know I can not be the only one to think that if the internal problems are not corrected then the bleeding will only continue.  I think we need to fix the cause and then find the solution to the problem!!!   Let me know your thoughts?
