Energy, Enthusiasm and Commitment Make a Difference!

I recently took my Daughter to a Sophomore High School program called HOBY and the welcome ceremony the other students provided was amazing -- they were lined up on every street corner waving, yelling, shouting, jumping, bouncing -- the welcome they provided my daughter was full of enthusiasm and made it really fun for someone that attended without knowing anyone.  Everyone was in the same boat not knowing one another but everyone felt welcome.  By the time the weekend was over they had created great friendships because everyone was committed to participating with energy.

Working open houses, door knocking, listing appointments or what are turning into listing education seminars should be done with energy, enthusiasm and excitement.

Nearly 100 high sophomores stood on the neighborhood streets and corners and sold over $4,000 worth of lemonade in just over 2 hours!  Amazing -- they did this not waiting for consumers to come to them but went and reached out to get them -- no fear, asking people if they want to participate in a great cause by buying some lemonade.

One sophomore went back to their high school and raised money to help cancer victims.  They created the awareness and funding for high school and college students to donate their sperm prior to undergoing chemotherapy.  Chemotherapy results in them becoming sterile and once they are in remission -- they could still have a family -- amazingThere are things you can do in your community to get involved and make a difference that allows you to meet as many as you can to ultimately discuss real estate.

Too many times I see people getting caught up and believing the news about the market or seeing the foreclosure rates climb or having a negative attitude -- create your own motivation and stay positive, focused and generate the energy, enthusiasm and commitment for your success.
