Recently, I had the pleasure of helping a woman search for a 3 bedroom/ 2 bathroom home for her family of 5. When I asked them which style house the family preferred, I found that she wasn’t aware of the types of houses offered. I described to her our selection: Townhome, Cottage/ Garden Home, Estate Home, Manor Home, Neighborhood Home, Large Neighborhood Home and Village Home.
I described each type in detail and she was very much impressed by the Large Neighborhood. This type of home provided the space needed for her growing family. Typically this home has 4 bedrooms, formals and two living areas. She liked this home especially because of the large porches and because the backyard plans are large enough for a swimming pool. After choosing this home type, we further narrowed the search; she toured the Harmony, the Brant and the Allendale.
We went over each home, their location within the neighborhood, features and pricing, and she commented on how simple it was to find the perfect new home at Vintage Township.

The woman was impressed by it all, but I realized it wasn’t me that was doing the impressing, or selling, even. Vintage Township – the neo-traditional community in Lubbock, Texas – sold itself. She saw for herself everything that I have promised in a community and everything she had dreamed of in a new home.
