Fl Keys Banks are expanding.
Major Fl keys banks want people to know they are very stable and growing.

Among the banks reporting, were TIB bank, ,which has nine branches in the Florida Keys. Per, Michael Carrigan, president and CEO of TIB Bank, "We're very well capitalized, very well reserved"

Also, First State Bank of the Florida Keys. Karen Sharp, the bank's president and CEO, says they've continued to have positive earnings and to build capital. She says the bank is performing "above its peer group" of banks of similar size.

Last but not least, Marine Bank, which has nine branches in the Florida Keys. The parent company just reported second quarter earnings of $5.7 million, as compared to $5.1 million for the second quarter of 2007. And their stock price closed at $25.38 per share on Thursday, very close to the high price for the year.
