TOURISM GROWS IN NORTH CAROLINA!!

By
Real Estate Agent with Coen-Cushman Real Estate, LLC.

Tourism spending increased 7.4 percent statewide to $17.1 billion last year, according to Gov. Mike Easley's office.

International travelers accounted for $607 million in tourism spending last year, a 13.2 percent jump from the year before.

These statistics show that North Carolina is an awesome choice to bring your business to!  It's also a great place to raise a family......We've got the mountains, world class golf courses and we've got the coast.  We're also very patriotic and take great pride in our military installations!!

I'm especially partial to the Fayetteville/Ft. Bragg area so give me a call and find out what it's all about!

Linda - I hadn't seen the tourism numbers, but I'm not too surprised!  I think the Dead Sea Scrolls alone in Raleigh is a big draw.  There is just so much to do in North Carolina!  The Outer Banks, light house tours, historical building tours, wine country tours, the Blue Ridge Parkway, gem mining, national forests, and so many cultural events and attractions.   I love living here!
