In an earlier blog I said I Was TOO Old To Apply, but I have found out that I best stick to what I know and have done for 29 years is sell and list property. I moved to the Cumming, GA area to be close to my son, daughter in law, and my adorable grandchildren and to further my real estate career here. I grew up coming to Lake Lanier to visit friends, in fact it is the first lake that I learned to ski on, which believe me was a major accompolishment to say the least. Later on after my 20's, I had friends that bought homes at Lake Lanier, so it was never out of my heart, and always enjoyed it with each and every visit, even some camping trips with friends which I willl never forget. I bought a second home at Oconee in 1987, and loved it and moved there immediately and started my career there for 19 years.
I am the Broker of Integrity 1st Realty in Cumming and after being here 3 weeks, have sold my first home which closes Monday, yeah! But the company has decided to close their office the end of August, 2008, so I am looking for a new nest! Where I can be productive and continue on to my retirement which I hope is 10 to 15 years away. I would love to find a managing broker position, or training position with a great company. I have owned and operated two companies of my own at Lake Oconee, which I sold. I have had training from Remax, Century 21, Prudential, ERA and I love training new agents and I would like to continue selling, which I love also. My closing ratio for working with buyers is 97.8%. I have sold a lot of forclosures and have a lot of good investors that depend on my advise.
So to all you fellow comrades in real estate, got any ideas, and do you know of a good place for my late summer nest?
Thanks and looking for input and suggestions, and advise about the best nest to call home.
