As of July 31, 2008, there were 20 single family home sales in the Makawao/Olinda/Haliimaile district year-to-date, compared to 34 sales this time last year. Total dollar volume was down 45%.
The average price was $557,566, compared to $592,941 this time last year - a 6% decrease.
The median price for a home was $515,000, compared to $582,000 a year earlier - down 12%
66 homes are currently listed for sale in Makawao.
