Creating Buyer Motivation in a "Buyers' Market"

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Sandra Nickel REALTORS

Deliver this message to your buyer prospects and watch their motivation skyrocket:

"Your enemy really isn't the sellers, who want to get the best possible price for their homes. Your enemy is all the other buyers who want exactly what you do!

And remember, it's only a 'buyer's market' until there's more than one buyer interested in a home; and then the seller holds all the cards!"

(Thanks, Brett Ellis, Fort Myers, FL, for these wise words!)

We're all about getting your referred buyers and sellers exactly what they want in this market. So be sure to call on us for all your Montgomery, Alabama referrals!

Thanks--we appreciate you!

Good post, I think that sometimes we see through a different set of glasses.

I like that phrase about the 'buyers market'-very interesting way to look at it. There are so many shortsales here that my buyers think they can just wait and wait...and I can just keep looking for more property-oh yeah, thats why I'm a Buyers' Agent!

Great post, I have been struggling with this lately. It is very hard to create urgency and then all of my buyers are taking time and time...

I've been in a number of mulitple offer situations this year in Northern Virginia.  It doesn't matter whether they are foreclosures or regular sales if the house is in good condition and the price is right the buyers are going to line up at the door to get it.

I have had a few fence sitter learn this the hard way. Let me sleep on it while the other buyers were up all night excited about the offer they made.
