ERA Landmark Real Estate is continuing its dedication in giving back to the community through a charitable organization. The ERA/MDA annual golf tournament will be held on September 5, 2008 with the proceeds benefiting the Montana Chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
Last years' event was a smashing success, with over $12,000.00 in net profit to benefit over 500 Montanans fighting neuromuscular disease. This year we are looking to surpass that total by encouraging more team participation adding to the excitement of the day. The MDA and ERA are asking for your business's support in aiding our worthy cause by way of a donation or participation in the actual event.
The funds that will be raised at this event will provide much needed services to our families throughout the state of Montana. MDA prides itself on the quality of our clinics, free of charge to our clients; wheelchair and leg brace assistance; diagnosis of diseases; support groups; research and an awesome summer camp for Montana children ages 6-21 outside of Havre, MT located in the Bear Paw Mountains.
Below is a brief breakdown of the costs associated with these services:
$30 pays for one flu shot
$85 pays for one minute of research
$100 pays for one support group session
$150 one physical, occupational or respiratory therapy consultation
$200 professional fees related to initial diagnostic work-up at MDA clinic
$500 assists one person for one year with the repair of a wheelchair or leg brace
$800 cost of sending one child to MDA summer camp
$2,000 assists one person with the purchase of a wheelchair; leg braces or communication device
As you can see from the above costs every entry fee will make a substantial difference for our clients. For your records, the Tax ID # is 13-1665552. Thank you for your past participation and I would encourage everyone to grab their clubs and hit the links for MDA!
