TGIC not TGIF

Thank God It Closed!  Another Naples First-Time Home buyer took advantage of this great buyer's market and government assistance program today.  With the Collier County SHIP Program, this buyer is now paying the same amount in a mortgage payment as she would have in rent for the same unit... BUT SHE OWNS IT NOW!... and she is not paying someone else's mortgage.  I'm so happy for her.  With these huge down payment assistance monies, the lenders seem to be much more apt to loan money since another government entity is involved with the transaction and reviewing the info.  The only problem is  that these programs have strict guidelines as well as income caps in most cases.  Anyway, have a great weekend everyone!
