Pirate's Cove
Spanish Galleon
I almost slapped a guy when I first moved here. He asked me to go shagging with him... English to American... lost in translation...
Hi Mirela;
Thank you for the Shag information, I will be visiting Myrtle Beach soon and will check out some of your listed clubs. Thank You!!!!!
LOL Mirela I know what you mean with the translation, but dances are usually fun.
Kirela, Mirela, Now this post brings backs some memories. I was a shagging fool back in the 70s in Mrytle Beach. We would travel up and down the grand strand hitting the clubs where live "beach music" was being played. Awesome days!!!
Bryant: When are you coming back? They're still playing the same tunes... You owe it to yourself to take a vacation. Let me know if you need accommodations. I can find you something good at a discount.
Don't forget to call me when you get here. Who knows, I might even shag with you (now that I know what shagging is).
Sonja: Yes, they are! Fat Harold's is so much fun! I don't really shag, but I can salsa and I just do that to the shag music. No one seems to mind it though and when I go dancing I don't get to sit down at all. There is a long line of fellows wanting to salsa/shag with me: they shag; I salsa...
One of my favorite things is to shag to good ole Carolina beach music.
Thanks
Bo
Hey Mirela,
The BIG shag event is about to embark on North Myrtle Beach! The Fall Migragtion of Shaggers will be in your wonderful area in September. I'll be there shagging myself!! Can't wait! Maybe we can get together for a day of sun and fun while I'm there!! Shagging is a great way to meet people and get exercise. Shag clubs are all over the east coast from Main to Florida!
Mirela, when I first read this, I was thinking of "The Spy that Shagged Me". how funny is that.
Mirela, What exactly is Shagging... (the dance, I am pretty sure I fully understand the other!) ?
Mirela - In the 70's I spent more time at the Spanish Galleon & fat Harolds than I did at home! Just wish that I had the money those two placees have made in the past 40-50 years!
J. Bradley: I will put out the word. I bet you I can find you one! Stay tuned, my man, for I will get you one!
In exchange, I would like to hear more about it:
The year?
Have you been to Fat Harold's?
Do you come down for the SOS events?
