I have this client that requested a fixer upper, 3 bedroom, 2 car garage, average size yard. I showed him a few of these and then made the "mistake?" of showing something nicer. Well, now I can't get him to bid on anything that is not a Turnkey condition, 4 bedroom, 3 car garage and 8,000 sq ft lot. There are homes that he is qualified for but he is now competing with the rest of the world for the same "nice" homes. Needles to say, we just can't seem to win a bid because he is under the mentality that he can under bid every listed price.
So, the question now becomes, should we stick with showing only what the client request or de we show evertying in the their qualification price range and let them decide? Interesting ha?
Cheers.
