What Do You Think? (Sponsoring a Localism Community)

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Marketing 4 Realtors

So, I've done my duty in securing the sponsorship of communities for several clients.  Now that the dust has settled (somewhat), I started actually taking a look around the localism communities and see that it really does have treendous potential for sponsors and top neighbors.  On to my question...

As Virtual Assistants, what do you think about a VA sponsoring a community as opposed to an agent, lender, or stager?  I'm thinking about the possiblities and wondering if it would be worth my while to do so.

Your thoughts?

If the community hasn't been claimed by now then go for it!  I think its a great idea.

Desiree - That's what I was thinking but I wanted some other takes on it!  Thanks!

Dale - Can you give me some examples of how you think I could make myself more valuable by sponsoring a community?  Thanks!

Sara - Good - I think I'm going to go for it!

Lindsey - I primarily focus on real estate but that doesn't mean that can't change!

Renae:  Great job... good for you.  I am sure that your taking the initiative is a great sign for both your present clients, and your future ones, too.  What communities did you end up sponsoring ?

Duane - Thanks, I've decided to go ahead and give it a shot. I'll let you know how it goes. Are you sponsoring any communities?

Karen - I'm starting off just with my little suburb of Garfield Heights, Ohio.  We'll see what I can do with that and then decide if I should do another one  Thanks for the encouragement!

Renae, I haven't, hoping the agents in our area pick them up. Not really sure how to check if they have or not?

Duane - If you go into localism.com and click on the link to sponsor a community, you can put in your desired state or city and it will tell you on the right-hand side of the screen all the cities and whether or not they are currently sponsored.

So I went ahead and bit the bullet and sponsored a community.  Now I'm going to spend the week taking some pictures and posting them and relevant content.  Let's see how far this takes me!
