Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

 I think we need to get back to the basics, OPEN HOUSE'S.....  I have held an Open house 2 weeks in a row and picked up 3 buyers!!!!!!  It must be a very effective open house for it to work well.  Just wanted to share with everybody that the buyers are out there and are not always working with an agent.

I do 4-6 open houses a week. Every week. All year long. My name is in the paper each weekend in a long list. I think it shows I am a serious agent. It helps selling and helps pick up buyers. I am glad other companies in my area dont feel strongly about them. Win win for me!

I agree with you on holding open houses.  My kids are all in their 20's and are looking to buy homes.  In my conversations with them their home search activities include research online, obtaining open house information and previewing those homes on the weekend along with their errands, shopping etc.   They have busy lives and are not necessarily keen on the idea of making appointments to see homes on the market.  They prefer to do a drive by, possibly stop in if it peaks their interest and move forward from there.
