The Big Island Market has seen incredible growth over the last 3 to 5 years, development continues to keep on coming. However, the rising property values and prices took a lot of the local people out of the market - no opportunity to buy and if owners no ability to sell and step up to a little bettrer home. Applications are now being accepted for Seascape Condominiums, a new 108-unit 100% affordable condominium project being developed by Seascape Development, LLC, another venture by the Westpro Group.
Each 2-bedroom, 2-bath Seascape unit is approximately 1050 s.f. and features an open kitchen, great room, two full baths and a large covered lanai. Seascape will be an Energy Star project, a coveted rating by the Environmental Protection Agency and US Department of Energy, keeping home owner's utility costs down.
Purchase price for Seascape's 2-bedroom, 2-bath condominium is $284,600. Interested buyers may pick up an application starting Wednesday, July 5, through Monday, July 24. Applications are available to all Hawaii County residents and applicants must meet the affordable housing eligibility requirements regulated by the County of Hawaii's Office of Housing and Community Development.
Deadline to apply is Monday, July 24, 2006 at 5:00 pm.
