Thanks for the down payment assistance info, very helpful! I heard that this type of assistance is in jeopardy of closing. Why would the government shut down a privately funded program like this? Well, if you want to help save DPA http://www.dpagroundswell.org/ is the website I found to be most informative about the whole story. DPA has been a very helpful avenue for many of my clients.
