Hi Patti Ann,

Pending sales are up over 20% higher this week than one year ago August.  The Cities have posted 900 sales this August as compared to 744 a year ago. Even though it's only one week, it seems to be another supporting pill of stability or balance in the real estate market place.


New listings declined by 11.3 percent for the same time period comparison, and the total number of active properties for sale is currently 6.4 percent lower than it was one year ago. Many more sellers are waiting with the increasing foreclosure inventory.  Another supporting pill of stability in the marketplace.

Sure signs of an interest rate hike this fall.
