It seems that more people are setting back into routines, knowing that summer is coming to an end. But it is NOT over yet. Haddan Neck Fair in Haddam Neck, CT will be here before you know it.

It is a 3 day event and one that should not be missed. There is something for everyone to enjoy there.... From Beard Contests to tractor pulls, horse shows and oxen pulls. There are baking contests and rides for the children. Like I said.. something for everyone.

Gary, That is exactly right. There are a lot of county fairs in August here in Connecticut. I try to go to as many as I can.

Valerie - It sounds like the fair we had earlier this summer. I don't remember any beard contests, though. I'm sure it'll be a fun time! :)
