Working with the neighborhood

I have the distinct honor of living in Highland Square in Akron, Ohio. I have found that if I walk down the sidewalk and just make eye contact or say hello, people are more apt to accept your business card or just converse with you, Highland Square is quite ecletic. It is a historic neighborhood that is a reminder of what Akron was during the rubber days. Most homes are all the early 1900 era. Mine personally is 1911. The Square has taken upon themselves to make the neighborhood a "state of mind". I am proud of the Square and I take pride in the fact that I am living my dream in Akron, Ohio. The golden rule applies here and is used daily. If you take pride in your specialized area, it is a lot easier to maket it to your buyers. Always treat your sellers like the neighbors that they are. Make it your community. Enjoy it and revel in our differences.
