I am happy to announce that the HSA home warranty plan can now be purchased on homes that are bank owned or sold "as is". HSA realized that our market has changed and that many home buyers are taking advantage of the lower prices on bank owned homes. For this reason, they decided to allow the home warranty plan to be purchased on properties that are sold "as is".
For those of you who may not be familiar with a home warranty, it is a warranty plan that protects the home's mechanical systems if they would fail due to normal wear and tear during the buyer's first year of ownership. The plan is usually purchased for the buyer's first year of home ownership, but can be renewed if the owner wishes.
