The Prosper Police Department will host its Annual Health and Safety Fair on October 4th from noon to 4 p.m. at the Multi Purpose Facility located behind Prosper High School 300 Eagle Lane, Prosper, TX 75078.
It is a wonderful event where the community as a whole comes together to meet each other, police officers, members of the fire department, merchants, and more. It is a fellowship of individuals and city organizations-an event for the community, by the community.
It will be a fun filled afternoon and it will include tons of stuff for the kiddos such as bounce houses, a car show, fire trucks, police vehicles, helicopters, music, face painting and more.
They will also be excited to meet McGruff the Crime Dog and State Farm's Good Neigh Bear. Officials from Prosper and neighboring police and fire departments, the SPCA, MADD, Carter Blood Care, Centennial Medical Center and other organizations will feature educational opportunities at their Booths. The Sharkey/Peek Group will be there to answer and questions you may have about PROSPER REAL ESTATE
The Health and Safety Fair will be the big kick-off for the Prosper Night Out Against Crime Celebrations. National Night Out has moved from the second Tuesday in August when we all know it is hotter than hot to October 7th when we will all be much more comfortable. The NNO is a campaign designed to unite citizens, law enforcement agencies and businesses in drug prevention awareness and the fight against crime. The Health and Safety Fair also helps the Prosper Police Department raise money for special needs that may arise in the community. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Prosper Police Departments Cops for a Clause program. The Cops for a Clause program helps families and individuals in need during the holiday season.
