Courtesy or not! Seller's only care what the buyer's think not what we think!

I got a call from one of my seller's regarding feedback that an agent had left. I already was prepared for this phone call but, didn't feel it was necessary to call Mr.Seller. I took the approach letting steam blow off! for that day. We have to understand that Emotions are so high in this market! Are we professionals, well I can speak for myself but, I was really upset myself.  So I said Mr. Seller apparently this agent can't take control of his buyer and his opinion wasn't constructive at all.

We don't have to deal with unprofessional agents that are negative. Keep this mind! like in my previous blog you might want to find anohter JOB! I think the fish market is hiring!!!

Ok so bakc to MR.Seller So I go on to tell him Yes, this agent could of written there feedback different but, your home looks great. I know there is nothing we can do about the dogs but, them being kenneled is all that we can do. I am sorry they are barking but, a good agent won't point out the negatives and let there buyer's make there own mind!

Are we selling house's? or b/c I for sure was trained thru KCRAR how to give constructive feedback from what my buyers thought!

Isabella, when you request feedback you should be prepared for the negative as well as the positive.  Frankly, this is one reason why I do not like to give feedback.  If my buyer clients tell me that the barking dogs are a distraction, and I pass it along to you, how is that not being constructive?   I would think it would be helpful to your seller to hear the truth.

I can see where your coming from but, helpful to me is knowing if the the rooms sizes did not work for this buyer.  It was really the way that this agent had worded there feedback . As you took a professional approach. I also have it mentioned in the showing instructions that dogs will be Kenneled.  My point is we are selling homes not dog's!
