Hi everyone I am new to the group & Active Rain! First off I will just say that I absolutely love music!! I grew up in a house that loved music. My dad was in a local band most of my childhood and he played electric guitar. I remember being very small and listening to music on MTV, you know, when they actually played music in the late 80's early 90's. :) I also love how music can change my mood! If I am having a crummy day, I just listen to upbeat music and sing along, not very well, and that almost always helps! When you sing and listen to great music, it is hard to stay upset! I have actually had some experience with that lately. I have been, for some reason unknown, having panic attacks while driving. They were getting so bad I had to pull of the road a couple of times...not fun! So, here lately I have been keeping my mind distracted by listening CD's and songs that help keep my mind on the lyrics of what I am singing and not the fact that I could have a panic attack! IT'S WORKING! Music is great!
