Jennings Nature Park is located on 64th, boarders the neighborhood Parkview Estates and is connected to Jennings Memorial Park via a walking trail. The park has a large playground for children to burn all the energy and benches for parents to have a great view of their children's antics. The park is well maintained and is perfect for an afternoon walk or to spend a day reading a great book.
Jennings Nature Park is also a favorite destination for school environmental and biology classes because it is perfectly situated on the Allen Creek watershed. It gives students a unique opportunity to learn about out environment while being in a outdoor setting. In the picture below, young students can be seen running up the hill after a long day of studying towards the playground and restrooms.
