We have many buildable plots of land with a view of the Mediterranean and a peninsula with a castle sitting on the end of it. It's a view I thought was only in fairy tales. So I began to think - it's one thing to sell a sea view like this one, looking over an island and the blue warm Mediterranean, but add a castle to that and it synergizes the beauty! You can't get a castle view back home in the states.

Wow, do I stand corrected. Or rather, I sit corrected. You see, nowhere where I grew up were there castles, but just to be sure before I started my blog, I did a search. All I had to do was read one site, www.dupontcastle.com and my breath was taken away. There are hundreds!!! Did you all know this? I used to think castle and I would think Europe, but no way- I'm very wrong. America has some amazing castles to be proud of.
Better rewrite that tag line now. Sea view and Medieval Castle view. There, at least if Americans want to see something different and are tired of all their beautiful castles, they can come over here to Methoni, Messinia, Peloponnese, Greece, and see something new...ah hem...old, that we have to offer here.
