Hi Everyone!

I'm new to this , As you will may be able to tell since it appears that this site is for professionals. First ! How in the world does anyone find time too sit and do this stuff? I can't even get a chance to sit down and really complete my profile.  I probably look like an idiot! Really I'am not

As a Realtor since 1994, It still so amazing how  the home prices in Arkansas continue to rise , Which keep in mind that is what we want ,as homeowners and investors.  But it should be at a continual gradual rate, that is what Real Estate was suppose to do , remember our parent's homes took 15-30 years to get their investment back. Then all the sudden the prices of homes went from 90,000 - 130,00 here in a matter of less than 2-3 years , so now we have to wait for that cycle to catch up with us.

I would like to be frank and ask , I knew two and half years ago that this was a event that would take  place. with the bidding wars and overpricing of home so the Lender could get the buyer in with no money

over appraisal values

The ( foreclosure Dilemma) I observed so many buyers that wanted to get in a home so badly and lenders would give the loan even though they knew they were not really a candidate for the loan. I could have sold a lot more homes , I turned buyers away and told them they were not in the position to buy, to wait, fix the credit issues, pay off bills and get in a loan at a PAR rate,

Was everyone really so Blind?

Hi Maria, and welcome to the Rain!!

I will admit that I got my start before I worked in a busy office - my previous office was very very slow and I had a lot of free time - so I started blogging.  NOW I am reaping the benefit of that.

I do not spend time doing "traditional" lead generation (phone calls, door knocking) because it simply IS NOT ME.  I love to write, so I do my prospecting with my blog.  Is it successful?

I could give you all the details but instead, I'll just say YES.  Blogging is not for everyone - but it sure is for me.  I hate cold calling, but I love, love, love my blog.  I do it at night (like now) or early in the morning, or sometimes I'll write three posts on Sunday afternoon and then just publish them on Tues, Wed, and Friday.  Then if I feel like it, I'll throw something up on Saturday too.

Welcome to AR and congrats on your first post.  As to how we make time to do this - we make the time, just like we set aside time for prospecting, mailings, open houses, etc.  AR if done correctly gains more buyer and sellers and prospects just like any other form of prospecting.

It doesnt happen overnight. Thanks, Keith
