Top 5 restaurants in Ashland, Oregon

My top 5 now 6 restaurants in Ashland, Oregon.

Cucina Biazzi - It is a cute little Italian restaurant/house.  Order the Lobster Ravioli.  It is a cheese ravioli with a luscious lemon and lobster cream sauce.

Morning Glory - How can one even pick what to order there???? Incredible omelettes served with cheese polenta, amazing hash browns, or pancakes, and bread or a muffin.  Or their waffles and pancakes... These are not your mothers cakes.  The coffee and everything else is too good.  Plan to spend 10 minutes just reading the menu.

Dragon Fly - Asian & Latin combo cuisine.  I love the Nuevo Rollups for lunch.  It is a odd combo of noodles, veggies, and peanut sauce in wrap.  Amazing good.  and yes, I eat the whole thing!

Golden Dragon - Chinese.  Order the shrimp egg rolls and lemon chicken.  Both are crunchy, meaty and tasty.

Black Sheep -English.  It is more the experience than the food, although the food is good.  Fish and Chips, trout pate....Go for the Celtic Music jam at 2pm on Sunday.

Martino's - Italian and General.  Good food, but I love their Sicilian ice cream for desert.  It is like eating chai, pumpkin pie, but cold.

Krista, Nuevo Rollups sound very intriguing. Also, Asian/Latin combination is an interesting combination. Will have to remember that.

I love to watch your blog because I grew up in Ashland.  I just came back from my 20 year high school reunion!  As I come down from the Siskiyou Pass, I still feel that rush of 'I'm home.'

I remember Golden Dragon (if it's the same one I'm thinking of) and Black Sheep.  I love Mihama's and admit to skipping Accounting (the professor was dreadful) to go have lunch across from the SOU campus.

Linsey - I also like Mihamas.  The tempura veggies plate.  what was your favorite?

At Mihama, I loved the lunch special with chicken and that incredible teriyaki, rice and salad (love, love the dressing).  When I went back recently you could get brown rice and all white chicken.  Loved it.

Just remembered one of the other two great places in town - Breadboard is a must.  Fresh biscuits with homemade Marionberry jam.  I was broke while in college but if I would splurge, it happened at the Breadboard (although it's very reasonably priced - but I was in college so you know...).

The new one is Morning Glory. INCREDIBLE!!!  Love the atmosphere and don't bother trying to pick out something to order.  There's too much that is incredibly good.  I usually ask the server to bring me something and I can't go wrong.

Make's me hungry for a trip back...

Krista - Looks like I have some more Ashland restaurants to check out. Breadboard is a favorite of our youngest when we go to breakfast/lunch, and they have some great choices, too.

mmmm, It's midnight-thirty and I'm hungry...

Dragonfly is definitely a fave, the Buddha Bowl is delish. And I'm looking forward to trying out the new place in Talent ... what was it called? Do any of these make midnight deliveries? Or maybe i should go for a Guinness and Black Sheep. I love that they have dart boards.

All of your pics are great, Krista.
