Hey all,
I am about to get my website up and running. I am very excited to get it going, and I would love to hear what some people think about the site. www.jakeplanton.com.

Jake- It is pretty easy on the eyes, and easy to navigate around I like it. The only thing you might want to consider changing would be on the home page where you have your companies name in a darker gray that kind of blends in with the background. Other than that it looks really good.
If you don't mind my asking who did you get the site through (where'd you buy the domain from), and did you build the site yourself or have someone else build it (If you did it what site building tools did you use if any).
THanks for the comment! I am having my web guy change the Rose City Mortgage link on the front to white. I bought the domain from godaddy.com, and I met the web developer from my networking group I run. His name is Jeremy Wilkins, and I can give you his contact info you want. VERY easy to work with; and not too expensive either.
I liked it quite a bit. Upon bringing it up for the first time, you'd expect to hear Tina Turner in the background singing "Simply the Best". Clear, concise, easy to navigate. Job well done!

Jake,
The site is pretty clean, looks nice. The layout seems to work well. The colors are nice but make me a bit sleepy. Having a blog will help with the search engines. Now you just need to launch it and promote it like crazy.
I agree with Chris. I could barely make out the company name. Other than that it really looks great!

Thanks for the responses all....now, to promote it like crazy, and not spend a fortune...
Hi Jake,
It would not be Constructive criticsm if it was all nice! That said, it looks good.
The only comment that I have got, (I'm guilty of it on my own website, is that email address should be jpegs or done from contact buttons. This is to stop/cut down the bots/crawlers collecting your email address and therefore cutting down the about of spam you will get.
Good luck,
Alan
Hey Larry,
It is so nice because someone from my networking group actually did the site, but he set it up so I just log in, and make changes whenever I want. It is being hosted on GoDaddy.com, but I do everything else :)
