We used to love reading these signs as we drove along. many times it was my highlight of the trip!

Ding Dong...Avon calling. I have an aunt who sold Avon for 30+ years....the first 2 words still fit her perfectly!
A thing of the past...Well, almost. La Crosse WI. has a drive in where they still have the car hops. They have an Old Car period every sunday for 2 hours also!
Last but not least....nothing better than a cold mug of A&W!
I hope these brought back a memory or two, and maybe even a smile with them.
