What Cell Service do you like best?

I have been a cell phone user for over 5 years.

My first phone cost me $ 1,795.00 with a $ 99 pr month plan. No free minutes and $ 1.59 per minute usage.

The phone was 17 lbs, and the battery was 4 lbs alone.

It would be thought of today as a deadly weapon

How many of you still have these old phones.

I am thinking of sending mine to the Smithsonian for posterity.

My main question is which service do you like best?

I use and like T-Mobile, not because they are always the best, but because they are available and a eal person talks to you, not a computer.

24 hours a day 7 days a week.

I, though my home, my family and our busienss have 14 phones and 13 of them are T-Mobile systesm.

I may be getting a better deal because of this but I think they are evry receptive to everyone who contacts them or goes to a TMobile store.

Just my opinion- What do you think?

I once used T-Mobile, and I disliked them.  Several years ago I went to Europe for a wedding, but before I did, I asked them if I would be able to use my world phone there with no extra charges.  They said yes; all I had to do was activate my European coverage.  T-Mobile then did it for me.  Before I left for Europe, I confirmed I had coverage.  When I got off my plane in England, I tried to call home, but my phone didn't work.  I called T-Mobile and they said my phone wasn't activated; I told them that they activated it for Europe, but they had no record of it. They then said they needed 2 weeks advance notice.  That was no help because I was only in Europe for about a week.  After speaking to several people at T-Mobile, I got them to agree to pay for any phone charges I might make, since it was their error that caused my problem.  I was working on several transactions, so I had to call my office in the Boston area a bunch of times.  When I got my next phone bill, I was charged several hundred dollars for my calls from Europe.  When I called T-Mobile, they denied ever saying they would cover my phone calls.  I would never, ever use T-Mobile again, and hopefully, I've cost them much more than I was charged, because I always tell people my experience with them.  I guess you can tell I'm still mad at them.

I've used Verizon since then.  I've had no complaints.  For me, their coverage area is more extensive, and the staff has been extremely polite and helpful.
