You enter a home , thinking about the listing presentation you are about to give. After you tour the house, you are asked to have a seat. The first question they ask is what your commission is. Don't they know they get what they pay for? Do they really expect you to work for nothing? The answer is "some really could care less". I tell the seller that the commissionn basically doesn't exist until the house sells. A higher commission on the listing brings more buyers because more agents will show their home before a home with a low commission. The fee is almost always negotiable, unless the seller gets full price. Get smart everyone. We deserve better. We work hard, our expenses are high, and we give our "ALL" !
