We are half way through a very tough market here in the Greater Boston area.  What many us have done to tighten our belts is to look at what truly is working for us and remove the advertising etc that is not working for us.  IN addition it is very important to partner up with a like minded professional to co brand or co market your services.

Please share with me your successes in your local business...have a great day and stay cool....

Tough markets are good for us because they make us get better. Evaluating what works and what doesn't should be a business process that happens regularly.  Of course when you are busy selling in good times, you don't have time to evaluate.

Mostly I have found educating the sellers to be the answer.  When the market changes, the seller needs to know the rules also apply to them.

As an agent we have to be ready to ask "how much money can you bring to closing".  (gulp)

We are headed for 100 degrees this week...I told 3 clients to spend their time getting ready for a summer cleanup etc...why not hit the yard with mulch and flowers....those that do will get good results in September etc....
