Get a free copy of your credit report one time per year from all 3 credit bureaus by going to www.annualcreditreport.com You can also file disputes on your credit report within minutes. You may create a login for all 3 bureaus which will allow you to check the status of your disputes online. Do not pay for your credit scores as they are consumer model of scoring and is not what lender's use to approve or deny credit.

I recently saw this website - http://www.freebiecreditreport.com - claiming that you can get a credit report 100% free. Ha! Yeah as long as you remember to cancel the 7 day trial. Consumer beware, sign up for these services if you must, but remember to cancel before trial ends or be billed up to $30/month.

The website you mentioned is definitely not free. Do not use www.freebiecreditreport.com or www.freecreditreport.com Those are websites where you join a membership club and must cancel your membership to avoid being billed. If you go to www.annualcreditreport.com it is a direct link to the bureaus that the government put in place a few years back where you can get copies of your reports from all 3 bureaus and file disputes for any inaccuracies on your report. You can get your report 1 time per year from all 3 bureaus on this website and the inquiry is a consumer disclosure inquiry and does not affect your credit scores.
