While picking up Home Owners Documents at Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation the other day for one of my sellers, I learned that the LRPRA has had a fee increase.
Since I think that Seller's and Buyer's alike need to know this information, I thought I'd share with you what I learned.
Initial Association Disclosure Packet Request- this is typically what most sellers will need to request when transferring property from them to a new homeowner. The fee is $$100 plus one of more Preparations and Deliver options listed below:
- paper format to be picked up $150
- paper format to be mailed- $150 plus required postage
- electronic format -$125
- expidite within 5 business days -$50
- additional copies (beyond required 2 copies) $25 each
Now if you have Ordered a Resale Packet within the past 12 months
- A Financial update only is $50
- A Financial update and Inspection $150
Buyers when purchasing a home in Lake Ridge governed by Lake Ridge Parks and Recreation, there is a $500 initital set up fee that is collected at settlement. This is a cost of becoming a Lake Ridge Homeowner.
