Well I made you look, and really that was the purpose of that headline. I was having a conversation with my favorite marketing maniac Tim Davis and the conversation turned to writing headlines that pull.
If you can't get your audience to read your message you sure as heck won't get them to be interested in your product!
So here are two quick tips for marketing headlines.
1) Watch the newspaper headlines - they are in the same business we are, selling the story
2) Keep it truthful
3) Use drama
One of Tim's most effective headlines ever was "This Business Is So Hard I QUIT"
Now when marketing to search engines keep in mind you also must use keywords in your bold dramatic headline.
