I have wanted to ‘join the team' and write a blog since I first joined Active Rain.
But what do I talk about?
Do I just spew home insurance information? Talk about the YCH (Your Choice Home) that Allstate rolled out and it's fabulous options?
Do I talk about how hectic it has been this summer having my 7 turned 8 year old daughter and under 1 year old nephew having free run of the office? Swim lessons, Karate and golf camp made me feel as though I was for the first time in my life a true ‘soccer mom' (and yes, I get the irony in the title and soccer not being one of the sports listed.)
Do I talk about how I am a multi-business owner? I was able to maintain the office goals and get a crop of Washington's BEST CHERRIES picked.
Do I talk about why I opened an insurance office?
Do I give a resume about who I am and what I've done over the last 15-20 years (I'm from the farm world, we start working young)?
Do I go into depth about why I chose Allstate? Do I explain my family values and why I do business the way I do?
Perhaps I should explain my family's history in the area and why my office chooses to be more old-fashioned based?
This is an internet blog; maybe I should list all of the online, email and 24/7 availability of my office and Allstate?
Maybe I should write one on my incredible staff and how fantastic they are?
As you can see, there are many options as to what to write about. I am going to use this as my table of contents and write a blog about each idea.
