I've been working on improving my website and generating more leads and website hits for the past year. We all know that Real Estate is numbers game and that the more leads you get, the greater the possibility of you getting good/qualified leads that are ready to buy. I'm no pro at this, but so far it is working great. See my website stats below! In January of this year I started with 128 unique visitors to 1249 unique visitors last month! Hopefully these tips help:)
Here are a few tips to increase your website activity (that have worked for me).
- Add a blog to your website. ** According to everything I read, the blog is important..... but you need to post frequently in order to keep fresh content.
- Add relevant and useful content to your website. Information on your community, neighborhoods, schools, etc.
- Make sure that your website is a very important piece of all of your marketing material including business cards, property flyers, print ads, online ads, etc.
- Post your listings and ads on all the websites that you possibly can (especially if they are free!) including Trulia, Craigslist, Zillow and use vFlyer or Postlets to post on various other sites. **Don't forget to have you website as a link, so that users are directed to your website!
- Work on Search Engine Optimization (SEO), which will cost money to do certain things, but you can do a lot of things that don't cost money or very little money. ** A few things to look at are inbound links, meta tag titles/keywords, content, etc.
- Add videos to your website.
- Make sure you have a site map (both html and xml).
***One other thing I'd like to mention is I now use 1parkplace, which makes people register in order to view properties. I use to hate that idea, but now that I have it.... I swear by it. I went from maybe a couple leads a month to at least a couple leads a day.
Do you have any additional tips??? Please comment!
