It has been a while since my last posting. I apologize, but I have been one of the few Realtors you will hear about beating their 2006 and 2007 numbers. I have heard that markets, like the one we are currently experiencing, will separate the wheat from the chaff, the leaders from the followers, the fat from the tallow. I don't know what half of those things are, but I know I have been selling my toukus off for the past 3-4 months! I don't think it is some magical spell I have over local buyers and sellers. I know it isn't because I am so smart, because believe me, I am good with coming in out of the rain but I am no Stephen Hawking. I truly think a large part of my success is due in part to our old friend technology.
As all of you Realtors out there getting ready for license renewal know, it is time to make certain you have all your continuing education hours completed. Yea, yea, we should have them all tied up in a pretty little plaid bow by now. For goodness sakes, we've had two years since the last go 'round, right? Whatever! I am running like a dog after a chuckwagon to get mine finished before the deadline too. Lucky for me, I just sat through one of Dick Bett's tech seminars. He is brilliant, this guy. You must check out all he has to say about FREE marketing and self promotion. Oh, he is easy to find. Type in his name in the Google box and see what happens. It is no accident how his name is 7 of the 10 top sites it lists. He just gave us the keys to a metophorical Ferrari!!!!!
I have been kind of a slacker with the blogging. Slack no more, since I heard all of Mr.Bett's juicy tidbits about how to drum up business. I was already implementing many of his ideas, but now I am going to get busy and see just how far I can take this thing. So if you are sitting on the sidelines, get your tail in the game. If you are like me, at least on the field but not really carrying the ball, you better get ready 'cause I am coming to tackle you(with good sportsmanship intact of course!)!
