I got my first phone call today from someone who got my info off active rain. The guy is looking for real estate agents in the area to help with HUD homes or foreclosures etc. Wow, this active rain works. I listened to him. poor guy. Told him I was busy at the moment could he please just send all the information to my email and I will take a look when I get a chance. So, my question is. How often does this happen?.. and whats the best thing to do about it?

Hi Caroline - to answer your question: it happens a lot.

A lot of folks see your information and attempt to contact you because they think that you might can help them. Don't take offense, just remember that you are trying to build a "sphere" of associates, friends and contacts that can & will refer business to you.

Be nice - be polite because you never know who will refer that next big sale to you.
