I came across a post that I thought was very refreshing. A newbie is going through many life changing events and decided to post about it on AR. I felt her excitement jump right off the page! We all need to be reminded of what it is like to be new.

My husband is too honest. If I am getting fat he will tell me. If I am wearing something non flattering he will let me know immediately. However, I never doubt a compliment. Last year I was at my sister's wedding. It was outside so it was hot. I was running around playing the role of an unofficial wedding planner. I hadn't seen or spoken to him all day. He walked up to me and said, "You look hot." I said, "It is over a hundred degrees out here." He replied, "That is not what I meant."
Ok Richard I apologize You do know her. Not only that but she is feeling a little spunky this morning.
Now wasn't that just sweet of you Mel! I missed the nut bag comment the first time through. Surely that's a joke, right?
Jesse- She said it wasn't joke but didn't seem phased. That is a good thing. I poked around here for a long time before I ever wrote anything. Amanda Hall introduced me and the rest is history.

Thanks for sharing this Melody. Some people are just real twits and it typically someone that isn't a member of Active Rain. I am so thankful for this platform because if you go to so many other blogs, these are the comments you see. People are just being jerks to eachother! It is so weird. Why would someone want to get involved in that sort of blog?

Mel, I went and welcomed Brady. We should all remember how exciting and scary that stage of our lives were! Thanks for making her feel welcome. The support she gets on AR may be the support she needs to have a successful career in Real Estate.
